The purpose of the workshop:
help parents acquire practical skills in dealing with sibling rivalries and conflicts, especially when a new child is born in the family. The workshop is designed to support parents in creating an environment where children learn to manage their emotions and resolve conflicts safely.

- New Siblings-How to Prepare an older child
Help parents prepare an older child for new siblings to reduce feelings of insecurity or jealousy. - Understanding Sibling Rivalry – why it occurs and how it varies with age
Explain to parents where sibling rivalry comes from and how it changes with the age of children. - Age-appropriate conflict resolution strategies
equip parents with age-appropriate conflict resolution techniques that promote self-regulation. - Responding to conflict situations
demonstrating to parents how to respond in a neutral and supportive manner in conflict situations between children. - Building positive sibling relationships for the future
by identifying strategies that help children build strong and supportive relationships. - The Question and Reflection session
allows parents to reflect on their acquired skills and ask questions.
